Farrakhan Legodi, a YouTube content creator agreed to speak to us about his channel and the concept behind it.

His show Verified is basically a concept he came up with based on his own views on social media. He personally felt as if there are a lot of people that aren’t given credit on social media platforms for their work and feels that they should be verified but haven’t been. With that he thought why not have a channel that could give those people the recognition they deserve and sort of ‘verify’ them on his show, verify in this sense means giving them more recognition.

An example would be a guest star he featured on (Episode 3) Anita Sibozo who is an actor on the drama series Ingoma as well as Isithembiso which stars Lillian Dube, Himilltan Dlamini and a few more familiar actors in the South African industry.

FK also hosted The Trap Lords who are in to events, marketing and club hosting, on one of his favorite episodes (episode 5) and he mentions how this one had to be one of his favorites because of a segment on the episode called story time. This was a totally different angle for his show and the purpose for this segment was so that the guests can share their crazy experiences in life with the audience and sort of getting to know them a bit more personally. This episode had the largest views

He ended up getting a little discouraged, because “Having a YouTube channel where you feature people became a little tricky for him because of their availability. Not having the efficient equipment to shoot the show was another of the few challenges that m affected the quality of the content that he had shared, the first season of his show was all shot on an iPhone 7.

FK did promise us that there will be a season 2 coming up soon which will be bigger and better gracing us with a lot more content. We sure do look forward to watching it.
